Dental Checkups and Teeth Cleanings

The American Dental Association strongly recommends that both children and adults go to the dentist for a checkup and cleaning twice every year. These crucial visits give Dr. Ludu, Dr. Sharma and the rest of our dedicated team a good opportunity to spot dental problems that could cause serious damage if they go untreated for too long. Better yet, the teeth cleaning you will receive will eliminate cavity-causing plaque and tartar and leave your smile shining. Please contact Devoted Family Dental today if you have any questions we can help you with or if you are ready to schedule a visit.

Your New Patient Examination

The information gathered during this review can help us make very important decisions regarding the specifics of any needed treatment. Once we have a good grasp on your background, it will be time to conduct a comprehensive assessment of your dental health. We will listen to any concerns you have about your teeth and gums and any personal smile goals. By working together in harmony, we can create a care experience that is precisely personalized for you!

What Happens During Your Checkup

Digital X-rays will also be captured on an annual basis so that we can locate any issues that may be hidden beneath your smile’s surface.

Another important part of your checkup will be the measuring of your periodontal pockets. By charting this information, our team will be able to identify the presence of gum disease as early as possible.

Our team members are excellent at removing harmful plaque and tartar from the teeth, and we will also assist you by flossing between each pair of teeth in order to get rid of any further accumulations. Once we have finished this process, your smile should feel nicely refreshed.

Our practice’s doors are always open to you and your family. If you are ready to schedule an appointment, please do not hesitate to give us a call.
